Tania Richards CADS Autism

Tania Richards has worked for over 21 years as a Speech and Language Therapist and really loves her work!

As a mother of four Tania know's how hard parenting can be, especially when you are worried about your child's development. She has helped hundreds of children struggling with speech, language and communication, and it is a real privilege to work with them and see their progress. It is a real satisfaction seeing the positive difference Tania can make to her clients and their families.  It's an extremely rewarding job.

Tania graduated in 2002 from De Montfort University in Leicester and has extensive experience working as a therapist with individual clients, schools and charities across Leicestershire, Northamptonshire and the Midlands.  She specialises in autism, special educational needs and learning disabilities, but can help with all sorts of speech, language and communications needs.

Tania is the founder of Figureofspeechandlanguage. Please visit her website for greater details of her experience and working knowledge.

Dr Astrid van Wilsem is a Clinical Psychologist specialised in autism. Apart from being an experienced autism assessor Astrid also has extensive experience with children, young people and adults who have been diagnosed with autism and need psychological intervention. Furthermore, she trained as a bereavement counsellor.

Astrid has worked for different neuro-developmental teams in the NHS and through her private practice she has helped to reduce their waiting list for autism assessments. In her extended family she has relatives with a diagnosis of autism. This has given her experience and insight into living with autism, which she finds a very useful attribution to her professional practice.
